  • How do I download and install App.Date?
  • You can download App.Date directly from the store:

    Itunes (for iPhone)

    Google Play (for Andriod)

    Or goto AppDate.Love and click on the Get it Now button.  

  • How do I sign in?
  • After installation is complete, open the app. You will automatically be directed to our sign in screen. Click on the Facebook button. If facebook app is opened and signed in on your mobile device, you will be signed in to App.Date, if you don’t have facebook app or it is closed, you will be directed to facebook website and have to login to your facebook account. Once done, you will also be signed in to App.Date.

  • Do you post anything to my facebook account?
  • App.Date does not post anything to your facebook account. Not when you sign in, and not when you take any action in App.Date. Privacy of your information is one of our top priorities and we will never post anything about you to other websites or applications without getting clear and specific approval.

  • How do I edit my profile?
  • After you sign in, click on the heart icon on the top menu to open our side menu. There, on the top of the screen you will see your picture and a link to ‘Edit profile’. Click on it and you will be directed to your profile screen where you can edit pictures, add short text about yourself and record voice mail about yourself. The information you add to your profile will be open to any member that match your settings.

  • I have updated my profile. What’s next?
  • After you finished updating your profile, click on ‘Done’ button on the top menu. You will be directed to our feeds. We have two main feeds: dates and members. First you will see our dates feed, where you can browse all the dates in your area and decide if you wish to join any of them. After you browse all dates you will go to our members feed, where you can browse members in your area. If there are no dates in your area you will go directly to the members feed.

  • Dates feed
  • Here you can see real time dating opportunities posted by members in your area that match your settings. Each date includes: 1) dater picture 2) dater name 3) dater age 4) date activity 5) date city and hotspot 6) date timing.

  • How do I see more information about daters in dates feed?
  • Click on the dater name and the dater’s profile will open. There you can see more pictures of the daters, name, age, short description dater entered, voice message and history of dates posted by the dater on Xingles. Click ‘Like’ to send message to the dater and to go back to the feed simply click ‘Next’.

  • How do I join a date?
  • You have 2 ways to tell the dater posted the date, that you like to join the date: 1) click [I’M IN] 2) drag date right. This will send the other dater instant message that you like the date and want more information about it.

  • I clicked [I’M IN], what happens next?
  • The dater who posted the date will instantly receive notification that you what to join this date. If that other dater likes you to join the date too, you will get date confirmation message. If the other dater wants to chat with you before confirming the date, you will get chat request and can start instant chat with that person.

  • Can I start a chat with other dater?
  • Yes, after you click [I’m in], You will also receive notification with the date information. At that point, you can click on the notification icon on the top menu and open your message listing page where you can see all the members you have any messages from and to. You will see the new message on top. On the right side of the message you can see the Chat icon. Click on that icon to start a chat with that person. After you sent the first message, you must wait for the other dater to reply before you can send more messages.

  • I clicked [I’M IN] and got a message with the date info
  • Click on that message to open a list of all the messages from and to that dater. At the bottom of the screen you will see Chat button. Click on it and start a chat with the other dater.

  • I don’t like a date. Can I remove it?
  • Yes, you can go to the next date. If Don’t like a date you see on the feed, click [NEXT] or drag date left. It will take you to the next date on the feed and will not send any message to the other dater.  The date will not be deleted from your feed, so next time you browsing the feed, you will have another chance to view the date and decide if you want to join it or not.

  • Can I control who I see on the dates feed?
  • Yes, open the menu and click on Settings. Then click on [Who I see] to open the screen where you can change the criteria for the dates feed. There you can set the following: gender, age, date type, distance, date with friends or 1 on 1. Then click on Xingles Logo on the top menu and you will go back to the dates feed and see the dates that match your settings.

  • How do I create a date of my own?
  • Creating your own date is very simple and easy to do. On any date click on the blue button at the bottom of the screen this will open the create date screen with 2 options. Private date and Public Date.

  • What is Private date?
  • Private date is when you create a date and sed it to the specific dater you see on the screen. Private dates you create are not posted to the feed and the only person that can see the private date you have created is the dater you want to join your date. This dater will receive personal and instant message with the date info and can respond to it by confirming the date or asking you to start a chat.

  • What is Public Date?
  • Public dates are posted to the feed. Any dater that match your settings will be able to view the date and ask you to join it.

  • Can I control who sees dates I post?
  • Yes, open the menu and click on Settings. Then click on [Who can see me] to open the screen where you can change the criteria for dates you post to the feed. There you can set the following: gender, age, and distance. Then click on Xingles Logo on the top menu and you will go back to the dates feed and save your settings.

  • Which information do I need to provide when I create a date?
  • After you choose between private and public date you will have to enter the following mandatory information: 1) what  2) where 3) when and optional information: 1) friends 2) picture 3) Voice message.

  • Mandatory information for a date
  • There are 3 items that you must enter before you can post your date:

     

    1) What? Here you need to select the date’s type or activity. You can select option form the list or add your own.

     

    2) Where? Here you enter date’s location. In the top field, you will see your current city. If you want to change the city, enter the new city name and click on the search icon. Find your city in the city listing and click on it. You want to go to a date in a specific place, hotspot? Look at the hot spot list for the city you entered. Click on the hot spot you like to choose it from the list.

     

    3) When? Here you can select the timing of the date. If you select Now! It will stay on the feed for 3 hours and then expire. All other options will stay on the feed as long as the day of the date has not passed.

     

    Safety Tip – we recommend not to disclose the date’s specific location if you also disclose the exact time of the date. Disclosing the specific location of the date should only be done if you are ready to have other daters visiting you in that location in person.

    Optional information for a date

    You can also enter the following optional information:

     

    1) Friends. If you are going with friends to the date (John is posting a date and add Ben in friends field, it will show that John is going with Ben to a club and looking for date.)

     

    2) Picture. You can edit the picture for each date you are posting, otherwise we will use your main profile picture.

     

    3) Voice message. You can record specific voice message that all other daters can hear. Tell them about your plans for the date and any other information that you think is important.
